The Caddo Herald January 21, 1944 S-Sgt. J.C. Carlton and Miss Annette Powell Were Wedded Sunday At the home of the bride at 1 o’clock Sunday afternoon, S-Sgt. J.C. Carlton and Miss Annette Powell were united in marriage by Rev. A.S. Eggner, former pastor of the Methodist church. After the ceremony the young couple left for Konawa where Mrs. Carlton is teacher of home economics in the schools. The ceremony was the double ring.
